Features: 
AMG8833 thermal imaging camera sensor is an 8x8 infrared thermal sensor array. When connected to your microcontroller, it will return a set of 64 individual infrared temperature readings via I2C. This is like those fancy thermal imaging cameras, but compact and simple for easy integration. The sensor only supports I2C and has a configurable interrupt pin, which can trigger when any single pixel is higher or lower than the threshold you set.    
On Pi, with the help of image processing from SciPy python library, we can insert 8x8 grids and get some very good results. 
The AMG8833 thermal imaging camera sensor is very suitable for creating your own human detector or mini thermal imaging camera.
