Circuit principle:
The audio signal picked up by the microphone MK1 is coupled by C1 to the operational amplifier U1A for voltage amplification. The amplified audio signal is rectified by the diode D1 and then charges the capacitor C2. U2, U3, and U1B are all voltage comparators, and the inverse of the voltage comparator The input terminal is connected to the DC voltage rectified by the diode, and the non-inverting input terminal of the voltage comparator is connected to the step-by-step rising voltage after being divided by the resistors R13-R22 in turn. It can be seen that the stronger the external volume, the higher the output voltage of U1A. When the voltage exceeds the non-inverting input of a voltage comparator, the voltage comparator outputs a low level and the corresponding LED lights up. The higher the voltage, the more LEDs can be lit, so as to intuitively reflect the external volume change.
In the circuit, the adjustable resistor RP1 is used to adjust the magnification of U1A, that is, to adjust the sensitivity of the volume column. The capacitors C2 and R3 form a delay circuit, which can form a slow falling pattern on the volume column, making the volume column look more Intuitive. The power supply range from 5V-12V DC can work normally.
